On Wednesday May 27, I was honored to be asked to contribute to a teen driving story on the CBS Evening News With Scott Pelley. The new study from the AAA Foundation documents that over the past twenty years, two thirds of the people who have died in crashes involving teen drivers have been a person other than the teen driver per se – passengers in the teen’s car, other drivers, passengers in other cars, pedestrians, and bicyclists. In the segment, AAA Foundation President Peter Kissinger explains the study, and my story and work are interwoven with AAA Foundation’s findings.
